The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for planning, researching, design, and development of new tooling and processes. Also this person will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and application of different engineering techniques and procedures. The Manufacturing Engineer will also investigate problems related to production.

  • Create proposals for tooling, automation, and machine design to reduce costs and increase quality, process capability, and safety
  • Hold studies involved with time, methods, and estimates on new work.
  • Create cost estimates that including change from current to new methods
  • Provide support to technical problems affecting the manufacturing processes.
  • Work with other departments to coordinate and complete projects.
  • Talk with vendors and suppliers in reference to attaining purchased components, then clarify and interpret tolerances and specifications
  • Attend trade shows and seminars to ensure all of the technology used by the company is up to date and the most cost effective.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in a Manufacturing Engineering discipline or an equivalent engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • CNC and Machining experience is required.
  • Knowledge of G Code and Mazatrol programming is a plus
