Job Responsibilities for Labor Relations Specialist/HR Generalist: • Labor Relations Specialist/HR Generalist will work closely with the Human Resources Manager in maintaining a positive labor relations work environment. • Responsible for day to day labor contract administration in areas of bereavement, leave of absence, seniority, vacation, award programs, posting and awarding job bids. • Assist in grievance meetings as needed. • HR Generalist will have a good understanding of how to partner with employees and management to resolve employee relations issues and provide assistance.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications for Labor Relations Specialist/HR Generalist: • Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations is required • 1-5 years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist in a heavy manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of employment laws. • SPHR/PHR certification is a plus.
