Our client is a global leader in their industry and looking for someone that is a team builder, someone who is good at building trust with the employees, someone who is truly a generalist, and someone knows how to perform HR duties in a heavy manufacturing industry.

Job Responsibilities for HR Generalist:

●  HR Generalist with be responsible for HR Administration for a heavy manufacturing group of Union Employees.

●  HR Generalist will have a good understanding of how to partner with employees and management to resolve employee relations issues and provide assistance.

●  The HR Generalist will have payroll responsibilities for both hourly and salaried employees

●  Processing time and attendance records, file management, unemployment claims inquiries, and maintain HR Oracle systems transactions

●  Recruitment of hourly and non-exempt employees

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications for HR Generalist:

●  Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience Human Resources experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. Or, Associate’s Degree in Business or HR Management with 3 to 5 years Human Resources experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.

●  Payroll experience working with Kronos preferred, or ADP, Ultipro, or something similar

●  Knowledge of working in a Union manufacturing environment is preferred

●  Experience working with multiple facilities is preferred
