This position will manage a team of chemists and inspectors. The Quality Control Manager will interact with Compliance, Research and Development, Production, Supply Chain, Graphics, Sales, Logistics and Customer Accounts departments. This position will report to the VP level. Responsibilities – Quality Control Manager


•         Manage quality control staff

•         Oversee inspection of raw materials

•         Oversee quality control of finished products

•         Investigate and resolve customer complaints

•         Analyze quality trends

•         Recommends new or improved quality control methods, procedures, processes and/or standards

•         Create and maintain device/product history records (DHR and PHR)

•         Manage quality of outsourced products

Job Requirements

Requirements and Experience-Quality Control Manager

Minimum 5 years management experience.  B.S. degree, preferably in technical discipline such as science or engineering.  The position also requires:


  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements
  • Oversee validations
  • Familiarity with GMP (21 CFR 820) requirements
  • Knowledge of statistics
  • Strong comprehension of math
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong communication skills 

Typical weekly work hours will be 8am to 5pm M-W-F and 10am to 7pm T-Th
