Responsibilities of Mechanical Engineer.

Suggest and implement ideas for new products and improvements to existing designs.
Create mathematically verified concepts to resolve packaging challenges and support evolving opportunities.
Evaluate and select design elements and components through an understanding of machine requirements, project kick-off activities, customer interface, design constraints, manufacturing process and material capabilities.
Provide technical resource support for our customers and throughout the organization.
Provide clear, effective communication and engineering artifacts including layout drawings, pneumatic schematics, 3D models and prints utilizing Autodesk Inventor.

Experience / Requirements of Mechanical Engineer

Bachelor degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of mechanical design experience—5-8 years preferred
Experience in Inventor is preferred—Solidworks is ok, all drawings will be done in Inventor
MUST HAVE:      Proven ability to provide vision for “elegant design”.
Proven ability to understand stakeholder’s positions and how the output of the individual effects the quality of our products, the time and effort of our stakeholders and the company as a whole.
Proven understanding of fundamental engineering knowledge, including but not limited to: ability to solve practical problems, deal with a variety of determined and investigated variables, including root cause identification and good laboratory practices.
