Provide mechanical and technical service to customers regarding inspections, maintenance, service, repairs, rebuild and upgrades to all types of blast equipment.  Proficient in conducting all of the physical attributes of the job.  Proactive in providing solutions to problems. 

Major Duties:

1.   Provide/Perform technical service, maintenance, repairs and start-ups of all types of blast equipment.

2.   Responsibilities include welding, burning, brazing, soldering, fabrication, mechanical and electrical capabilities. Other skill utilization may be necessary depending on job order.

3.   Ability to travel 80-100% of the week (driving and away from home office).

4.   Willingness to work extremely flexible hours, including holidays and weekends, as required.

5.   Responsible for expense management and service revenues.

6.   Complete all documentation legibly and in a timely manner as required.

7.   Support the Sales Department.

8.   Continuous education and certifications to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of our equipment lines.

9.   Ability to supervise projects and contractors as needed.

10.  Ability to manage own schedule effectively and efficiently.

11.  Ability to comply with all EHS requirements, along with any other federal, state, and/or local EHS requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance service of blast equipment preferred

Basic electrical knowledge and aptitude.

Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.

Basic welding experience.

Familiar with Allen Bradley PLC’s

Good written and verbal skills.

Basic computer skills.

Valid drivers license with good driving record.

Safety conscious.
